What's the difference between PPF and Ceramic Coating?

PPF is a self-healing, transparent film that protects against rock chips, scratches, and UV damage. It also has a hydrophobic top coat that repels water and keeps surfaces cleaner.

Ceramic Coating is a liquid-applied layer that enhances shine while shielding against dirt and contaminants. While highly hydrophobic, it does not prevent physical damage like PPF.

Can PPF and Ceramic Coating be applied together?

Yes! PPF provides physical protection, while Ceramic Coating enhances the film's hydrophobic properties and makes maintenance even easier. Combining them offers the ultimate protection for your vehicle.

How do I care for my car after PPF or Ceramic Coating is applied?

Avoid washing your car for 7 days after application to allow curing. Use pH-neutral car shampoo and microfiber towels to clean the surface. For PPF, avoid pressure washing the edges.

Will PPF or Ceramic Coating affect the color or appearance of my car?

No, both PPF and Ceramic Coating are designed to enhance the appearance of your car. PPF is transparent, while Ceramic Coating adds a glossy finish and depth to your paint.

Can PPF or Ceramic Coating protect against UV damage?

Yes, both PPF and Ceramic Coating provide UV protection, helping to prevent fading and oxidation of your vehicle's paint.

Does PPF cover the entire car or just specific areas?

PPF can be applied to the entire vehicle or targeted areas like the front bumper, hood, side mirrors, and door edges, depending on your preferences.

Can PPF be removed?

Yes. Paint Protection Film (PPF) can be removed at any time, and when done properly, it won’t damage your vehicle’s paint. Professional removal is recommended since they use the right heat and tools to peel it off cleanly without leaving adhesive residue.

Can PPF be repaired?

In many cases, yes. Most high-quality PPFs are self-healing, meaning light scratches, swirl marks, or scuffs can disappear with heat from the sun or warm water. However, deeper cuts, punctures, or peeling edges usually require replacing just the damaged section or panel instead of the entire film.
